Catherine Lanier

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Catherine Mary Lanier, 68, passed away Thurs., June 13, 2013 at home due to cancer. Mrs. Lanier was born in Wauchula, FL on December 16, 1944 and moved to Fort Meade from Avon Park in the early 1980's. She was a homemaker, member of Fort Meade Seventh Day Adventist Church, and a graduate of Avon Park High School, class of 1962. Mrs. Lanier was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton Richard Langford and Hazel Louise Crunkelton Langford; brothers, Dennis Ray Langford and Herbert Leroy Langford. She is survived by her loving husband, William Dale Lanier, Fort Meade, FL; brother, Richard Langford and wife Roxane, Lithia, FL; sisters, Joann Betancourt, Brandon, FL, Julieth Brooks, Lakeland, FL, Marleine Sims, Fort Meade, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sandy and Kenny DeVane, Fort Meade, FL, Brenda and Jim Looker, Panama City, FL; aunts, Elizabeth Williams and Gladys Crean, both of Avon Park, FL; uncles, William Crunkelton, Jack Crunkelton and Richard Crunkelton, all of Avon Park, FL; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
