Clayton L. Harrison

FORT MEADE - Mr. Clayton Lyle Harrison, 86, passed away at his home on Mon., November 5, 2012. Mr. Harrison was born in Pickford, MI on May 10, 1926, and moved to Fort Meade from Clio, MI in 1994. He was a sheet metal worker for Local Union #7 in Flint, MI. Mr. Harrison was a member of First United Methodist Church, Fort Meade and a WW II U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Harrison; step-son, Ronald Trease; four brothers and three sisters. Mr. Harrison is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Harrison, Fort Meade; sons, Keith Harrison and wife Cindy, Chesaning, MI, Barry Harrison and wife Kathy, Montrose, MI, Wayne Harrison, National city, MI; step-sons, James Trease and wife Dorothy, Hermitage, TN, Robert Trease, Galion, OH; brothers, Ivan Harrison, Grand Rapids, MI and Leroy Harrison, Lennon, MI; sister, Idena Dodds, Pickford, MI; four grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and ten step-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10:00am - 11:00am, Fri., Nov. 9, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Vincent Price officiating. Interment will be held in the West Vienna Cemetery in Clio, MI.
