FORT MEADE - Mr. Clinton J. Manley, Sr., 89, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016 in Sebring, FL. Mr. Manley was born February 25, 1927 in Homeland, FL, and moved to Fort Meade from Plant City in 1940. He was a retired bulldozier operator for Estech Chemical Co. and a citrus grower and farmer. Mr. Manley was a WW II U.S. Army veteran, a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade, and a member of Fort Meade's VFW and American Legion Post #23.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Page Manley; brother, Richard Henry Manley, and sister, Doris Beatrice Stanford.

Mr. Manley is survived by his son, Clinton J. "Buddy" Manley, Jr. and wife Marsha, Sebring, FL; daughter, Judith Lynn Southwell and husband Dale, Bowling Green, FL; brother, Ernest F. Manley, Winter Haven, FL; grandchildren, Alan Southwell, Cheri Schontag and Melissa Jan Manley; great-grandchildren, Tyler Cloud, Owen Cloud, Landon Schontag and Allisa Manley.

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Parrish officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Fort Meade.
