Doris Hunt

LAKELAND - Doris Sherley Hunt, 66, passed away Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Auburndale, FL. Doris was born October 17, 1948 in Moultrie, GA, and was a lifelong resident of Lakeland. She worked for Fleetwood Homes, a homemaker for her family, and a member of the Vineyard Church of God in Bartow.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Everette Andrew and Hazel Jaunita Tillery Sherley; husband, Sonny Hunt; sister, Wanda Sherley.
She is survived by her son, David Music and wife Brandy, Fort Meade, FL; daughter, Nicki Craig and husband Jeffrey; sister, Judy Newman and husband Donnie, Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Michael, Jordan, Peyton, Zachary, Brooke and Logan; one great-grandchild, Serenity; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015 at the Vineyard Church of God, Bartow, FL with Rev. Herman Music officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Vineyard Church of God, 490 West Vine St., Bartow, FL 33830.
