Aldine Fort Warren

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Aldine Fort Warren, 99, passed away Wednesday, Feb., 24, 2010 at her residence of heart failure. Mrs. Warren was born July 8, 1910 in Mulberry, FL and she was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade, FL. She was retired from Waverly Growers in Waverly, FL after working in their accounting dept. for 45 years. Mrs. Warren was a member of First Baptist Church, Fort Meade; 50 year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Chapter #47, Fort Meade; Member of Fort Meade Historical Society, and the last surviving member of the Fort Meade High School Class of 1928. Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Warren; brothers, Richard A. Fort, Sr., W.C. Fort, Jr., Herbert Fort and Edwin Fort. She is survived by her sister, Thelma Lyle, Commerce, GA, formerly of Bartow, FL; sisters-in-law, Mary Varn Fort, Fort Meade, FL and Rachel Kincaid Fort, Jacksonville, FL; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m., Mon., March 1, 2010 at Hancock Funeral Home, Fort Meade; Graveside services will follow in Evergreen Cemetery at 11:00a.m., Monday with Dr. Jack Taylor officiating.
