Brittany Walker

FROSTPROOF - Brittany L. Walker, 26, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Bartow, FL. After fighting a long battle with leukemia, Brittany took her last breaths surrounded by her friends and family. Brittany was born December 19, 1987 in Yuma, Arizona and was a lifelong resident of Frostproof, FL. She was a trial clerk for the Polk County Clerk of Courts, and a member of New Harvest Worship Center in Lake Wales, FL. Brittany was a 2006 graduate of Frostproof High School, where she was also President of the Frostproof Chapter of FFA. After high school, Brittany went on to graduate from Polk State College. Brittany was always a giving and caring person, and no one could question her focus on making a difference in the lives she touched. She was a loving mother to Mollie and Averie, and the beloved wife of Justin Walker. God blessed her with an amazingly rich life.   Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, 338 E. Central Ave., Lake Wales, FL.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary.  Interment will be in Mt.
