FORT MEADE – Mrs. Carlene Laneace Hunter, 67, passed away Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Bartow, FL. Ms. Hunter was born November 4, 1953 in Wauchula, FL and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. She was a restaurant manager for Charlotte Black at the Townhouse and Chuck Wagon restaurants in Fort Meade, and The Chatterbox Restaurant in Plant City. Mrs. Hunter also managed several other area businesses and Dollar General stores. She loved to spend her spare time with her grandchildren, family and friends, and was a graduate of Hardee High School, Class of 1973 , and of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Hunter was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hunter; brothers, Donald Moseley, Fred Mitchell Moseley; and sister, Sharon Pureco.
She is survived by her children, Deana Rimes, Donny Rimes, Tonya Rimes all of Fort Meade, FL, and Amos Rimes and wife Megan, Beloxi, MS; brothers Sherrod Wayne Moseley, Wauchula, FL, and Kenneth Lee Moseley, Fort Meade, FL; sister, Barbara Aleman; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren;
