FORT MEADE - Mr. Jack Billy Tillman, 82, passed away Tuesday January 23, 2018 in Tampa, FL. Mr. Tillman was born September 9, 1935 in Fort Meade, FL, where he was a longtime resident. He was a pit crew operator for Cargill Fertilizer Co., and a member of New Life Baptist Church in Fort Meade.
Mr. Tillman was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie B. and Ola Wyser Tillman, and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his sons, Roy A. Tillman and wife Elizabeth, Frostproof, FL, Jackie Tillman, Frostproof, FL, Darrel Tillman and wife Teresa, Lithia, FL; daughter, Janice Fair and husband Jerry, Ft. Meade; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26, 2018 from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade, with Rev. Joe Parrish officiating.
