Mrs. Julia Ann Scherzer

FROSTPROOF - Mrs. Julia Ann Scherzer, 80, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Lakeland, FL. Mrs. Scherzer was born in A-I, Ohio and was a winter visitor in Frostproof and was a resident of Swanton, OH. She was a retired bookkeeper for her husband's business, Jay-Mar Construction, Inc., a 1958 graduate of Swanton High School, a member of the Florida Flywheeler's Assoc., and of the Catholic faith. Mrs. Scherzer was very active in many organizations, where each of them involved quilting, sewing and painting, which she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Anna Myers; son, Joseph Martin Scherzer; and daughter, Denise Kay Boyd.

Mrs. Scherzer is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Martin J. Scherzer, Swanton, OH; son, Eric Scherzer, Swanton, OH; daughter, Tami Maki and husband Gregory, Mansfield, OH; brother, Paul Myers, Delta, OH; sister, Martha Yoder, Swanton, OH; six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family, and will be held in Swanton, OH.
