Julie Birdsong Hooper

FORT MEADE - Julie Birdsong Hooper, 67, passed away Tuesday, July 15, 2014 in Bartow, FL of heart failure.  Julie was born on January 27, 1947 in Plant City, FL, and was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade.  She was a homemaker and member of the First Church of God, Fort Meade.     Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Arno and Myrtle Birdsong in Feb., 2014. She is survived by her son, Daniel Hooper, Fort Meade, FL; brother, Mike Birdsong and wife Judy, Fort Meade, FL; sister, Melanie Justice and husband Charles, North Augusta, SC.     Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at the First Church of God, 215 S. Perry Ave., Fort Meade.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary with Rev.
