FORT MEADE - Mrs. Mary Jo Mauldin Eldridge, 68, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2015 in Auburndale, FL. Mrs. Eldridge was born Nov. 17, 1946 in Coffee County, AL and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Mrs. Eldridge was preceded in death by her parents, Jones and Kate Black Mauldin; brothers, Leroy Mauldin and Donny Mauldin; sister, Merle Hattaway.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jackie C. Eldridge, Fort Meade, FL; sons, Jeffrey C. Eldridge and wife Robin, Lakeland, FL, James M. Eldridge and wife Deniene, Auburndale, FL, Jason C. Eldridge and wife Kristin, Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Pearl Meeks, Kathleen McGhee and Deanie Ellis, all of Frostproof, FL; seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade. Private family graveside services will be held. In lieu of flowers, those wishing, may make donations to Good Shepherd Hospice, 109 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL 33823.
