Mr. Robert M. "Bobby" Stedem Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

LAKELAND – Robert M. Stedem, 33, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in Lakeland, FL. Bobby was born March 21, 1988 in Youngstown, Ohio, and was a lifelong resident of Lakeland where he graduated from Gause Academy in 2006. He attended Santa Fe Community College, and loved music, the outdoors, sailing, biking, and especially spending time with family, friends, and his dog, Bradley. Bobby enjoyed cooking for his family and friends proclaiming himself, “the best worst chef you will ever know.” He was a sushi chef at New Moon Sushi in Lakeland. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gertrude A. Minneman, paternal grandparents, Daniel E. and Phyllis A. Stedem. Bobby is survived by his parents, Tom and Shelly Stedem, Lakeland, FL; brother Tommy Stedem and wife McCaul, niece Mary Lankford, nephew Thomas, Fort Lauderdale, FL; sister Kate Simmerson and wife Megan, Lakeland, FL; maternal grandfather, Marvin S. Minneman, Apopka, FL; aunts and uncles, Michael and Candace Stedem, New Orleans, LA, Timothy and Nancy Stedem, Valrico, FL, Patricia and Wilhelm Schmelzer, Atlantis, FL, Daniel and Julia Stedem, Northville, MI, Sarah Minneman and Chad Lucas, Newburg Heights, OH, Rebecca and Steven Zivkovic, Aberdeen, MD; Godson, Jacob Palmer and numerous cousins. A visitation will be held at The Club at Eaglebrooke 1300 Eaglebrooke Blvd. Lakeland, FL 33813 on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
