FORT MEADE - Mr. Ronnie Earl Tisdal, Sr., 69, passed away at his home on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Mr. Tisdal was born March 31, 1952 in Wooster, OH and had been a resident of Polk County and Fort Meade for several years. He was a Carolina Carports and steel construction sales representative, worked with Mairk Equipment in their trucking division, and helped build Eagle Lake Baptist Church many years ago. Mr. Tisdal earned his Bachelor of Science degree with a Theology major from Liberty University, a Master's of Art and Religion and Church Planting, and also obtained an Honorary Doctorate Degree as an ordained minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald E. Tisdal and Erma Austin Tisdale.
Mr. Tisdal is survived by his son, Ronnie Earl Tisdal, Jr. and his wife Melissa, and daughter Angelica Woodside and husband Steve, all of Ocala, FL; sister, Karen Richardson, Bartow, FL; step-sister, Donna Clark; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
