FORT MEADE - Mrs. Sofia Rodriguez, 57, passed away July 6, 2011 at home. Born on September 1, 1953 in Cuidad Mante, Talmalipas, Mexico, she moved to Fort Meade in 1993 from Mexico. She was a homemaker and member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Chuch. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her husband, Gonzalo Rodriguez, Fort Meade, sons, Martin Rodriguez, Fort Meade, Roberto Rodriguez, Avon Park, FL; daughter, Alma Rodriguez, Fort Meade; brothers, Viecente Covarrurias, Isabel Covarrubias, Isedol Covarrubias, all of Mexico; sisters, Maria Covarrubias, Margarita Covarrubias, both of Mexico; ten grandchildren. Visitation will be held 10:00am-11:00am, Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Hancock Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held from the graveside at 11:00am in Evergreen Cemetery.
