Sue Ann Davis

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Sue Ann Davis, 67, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Bartow Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Davis was born in Bartow, FL on June 16, 1945, and moved to Fort Meade from Bowling Green in 1973. Mrs. Davis was raised in the Bowling Green/Tillman area of Hardee County by her parents Joseph Dallas Prine, Jr. and Lucille Eures Prine, and she graduated from Fort Meade High School, Class of 1963. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, where she was a choir member and Sunday School teacher for several years. Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, Ray Davis, Fort Meade, FL; sons, Alvie Davis and wife Bridgett, Lakeland, FL and Joey Davis and wife Barbie, Clarksville, GA; step-mother, Verena Prine, Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Norma Prine McDowell, Channelview, TX and Lynn Smith, Hemphill, TX; step-sister, Gayle Weinkauf, Fort Meade, FL; grandchildren, Bethany Davis, Noah Davis, Kaitlyn Davis, Naomi Davis and Hannah Davis. Visitation will be held 2:00pm - 4:00pm, Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral Services will be held 10:30am, Monday, April 15, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Bowling Green, FL. Interment will follow in Bowling Green Cemetery.
