Mr. William Ellis Myrick

FORT MEADE - Mr. William Ellis Myrick, 86, passed away Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015 at his home in Fort Meade. Mr. Myrick was born Oct. 7, 1929 in Paducah, KY and moved to Fort Meade 11 years ago from Wauchula, FL. He was a machinist for Whirlpool Corp. for 42 years, a member of the Knights Of Columbus, and of the Catholic faith.
Mr. Myrick was preceded in death by his son, Victor E. Myrick.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorthey B. Myrick, Fort Meade, FL; son, Sidney G. Myrick and wife Dawn, Lakeville, IN; daughters, Roseanna Beach and husband Allen, St. Joseph, MI, Theresa G. Myrick and husband Ronald Kanitz, Big Rapids, MI, Mary Lechenet and husband Randy, Coloma, MI, Tammy K. Hollingshead and husband Tim, Stanton, MI, Davon J. Simon and husband Mark, Benton Harbor, MI; daughter-in-law, Dawn Myrick, Nunan, GA; brother, David Myrick, Paducah, KY; eighteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Fort Meade, FL.
