FORT MEADE - Mr. Willis Orvil King, 80, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022 in Bartow, FL. Mr. King was born September 9, 1941 in Douglas, Georgia and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. He was a retired diesel mechanic from Imperial Lumber Co. of Bartow and of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mae Doris Fails King, daughter, Renda Faircloth, and several brothers and sisters.
Mr. King is survived by is loving wife, Lillie Robins King; Fort Meade, FL; children, Henry, Eddie, Allen, Lyn, Donna, Lavonda, and Christopher; brother, Winston King, Douglas, GA; Several grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m., all from the graveside at the Douglas City Cemetery, Douglas, GA, on Saturday, April 30, 2022.
