BOWLING GREEN - Mrs. Doris Ray Harp, 75, passed away Monday, June 6, 2016 at her home in Bowling Green, FL. Mrs. Harp was born June 21, 1940 in Appling Co., Georgia, and has been a resident of Bowling Green for 45 years. She was a fruit sectionizer with Peace River Packing Co. in Fort Meade for 25 years, a member of the Florida Flywheelers, and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Harp was preceded in death by her parents, Elzie McKenley Hand and Lena Mae Kersey Hand, several brothers and sisters, and one grandchild.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Harp, Bowling Green, FL; sons, Charlie Joe Ray, III, Orlando, FL, Neil Marino Ray and Kevin Dewaine Ray, both of Bowling Green, FL; Brian Keith Ray, Atlanta, GA; daughters, Doris Ann Ochoa, Winter Park, FL, Sandra Lynn Jones, Goose Creek, SC, Candace Keitha Ray, Lyndhurst, VA; sisters, Myrtice Everett, Baxley, GA, Marie Manning, Graham, GA; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Florida visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL.

Georgia visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 10, 2016 at Swain Funeral Home, 1632 Hatch Parkway, North, Baxley, GA. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016 in the Swain Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Omega Cemetery, Baxley, GA.
