Mr. Edwin Hubert Brown

BRANFORD - Mr. Edwin Hubert Brown, 85, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 in Parrish, FL. A longtime resident of Branford, FL, he moved to Parrish, FL nearly two years ago. He was a longtime Elementary School Teacher, having retired after a long tenure of 40 years with the Suwannee County, FL public school system. He was a member of Hopeful Baptist Church in Lake City.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Hilliard and Lucy Mae Brooks Brown, and his loving wife, Sylvia Stokes Brown.
He is survived by his step-sons, Sydney Ivey and wife Angie, and Sterling Ivey and wife Denise, all of Parrish, FL; brother, Alvin Brown, Miami, FL; step-grandchildren, Trevor Ivey, Bryson Ivey, Caleb Ivey, Emily Ivey, and Joshua Ivey.
Private family services will be held. Contributions may be made in Mr. Brown's memory to the charity of one's choice.
