Mrs. Juanita June Smith

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Juanita June Smith, 79, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Winter Haven, FL. Mrs. Smith was born November 1, 1935 in Dundee, FL and has been a resident of Fort Meade for many years. She was a book keeper for Ben Hill Griffin, Inc., a graduate of Summerlin Institute in Bartow, FL, and of the Baptist faith.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Ben Bedell and Minnie Lee Register Bedell; husband, Jack Dempsey Smith; daughter Robin Irene Smith; two sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her sons, Rusty Smith and wife Barbara, Mulberry, FL, and John Smith, Fort Meade, FL; sisters, Evelyn Brown and Margie Lanier, both of Frostproof, FL, and Jeannie Bedell, Lakeland, FL; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2015 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 10, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade.
