Mrs. Marlene Tillman Moncrief

FORT MEADE - Mrs. Marlene Tillman Moncrief, 73, passed away Friday, December 6, 2014 at her home in Fort Meade. Mrs. Moncrief was born November 13, 1941 in Lakeland, FL and was a lifelong resident of Fort Meade. She was a cashier for Circle K Food Stores and a member of Cornerstone Church of God, Fort Meade, where she was a longtime choir member. Mrs. Moncrief was a loving a lady, and spent many years caring for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie B. and Ola Wyser Tillman; sons, Jeffrey David Boutwell and Richard Moncrief; grandson, Christopher C. Johnson, and several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Moncrief is survived by her husband, Melvin A. “Shorty” Moncrief, Fort Meade, FL; son, Eddie Ray Huckabaa, Red Level, AL; daughters, Teresa Ranae Johnson, Fort Meade, FL; brother, Jack Tillman, Frostproof, FL; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 East Broadway, Fort Meade. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday; Dec. 10, 2014 at Cornerstone Church of God, with Pastor Phillip Williams officiating.
