Pedro Garcia

FORT MEADE - Mr. Pedro Garcia, 73, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 in Fort Meade, FL.  Pedro was born May 17, 1950 in Mexico and has been a resident of the Frostproof and Fort Meade areas for many years.  He was a migrant agricultural worker and of the Protestant faith.  

     Pedro was preceded in death by his wife, Telesfora Vega Garcia; parents, Felixciano and Claudia Jiminez Garcia.

     He is survived by twelve children; brother, Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico; sisters, Julia Quintero and Guadalupe Ramirez; many grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.  

     Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m., Friday, August 18, 2023 at Iglesia De Dios Pentecostal Church, 10 Langford St., NW, Fort Meade, FL.  A second visitation will be from 8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 19, 2023 and funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary.  Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade, FL.
