Mr. Ray L. Lamb

Fort Meade - Mr. Ray L. Lamb, 86, passed away Saturday, January 21, 2023 in Winter Haven, FL. Mr. Lamb was born June 19, 1936 in Fort Meade, FL where he remained a lifelong resident. Along with his brothers, Mr. Lamb was an owner of Lamb Brothers Construction, and he was a member of the Fort Meade Worship Center. Mr. Lamb served in the U.S. Air Force and was a 1954 graduate of Fort Meade High School.

Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie McDougald Lamb; parents, Ruben Guy Lamb and Emily Sylvester Lamb; son, Douglas Ray Lamb; daughter, Terrie Roberts; grandson, Bryan Neely; brothers, Vernon, Luther, Lloyd, Leo, Murry, Doyle, and Mitchell Lamb.

He is survived by his daughter, Rene Holloway, Brandenton, FL; brother, Emory Lamb, Fort Meade, FL; sister, Margaret Maddox, Wauchula, FL; grandchildren, Lansen Holloway, Winter Springs, FL, and Stacie Harpe, Fort Meade, FL; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Kadin, and Glavin.

Funeral services will be held from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 10:30 a.m.
