FORT MEADE - Mr. Thomas N. "Tommy" Prine, 92, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 in Lakeland, FL. Mr. Prine was born April 27, 1931 in the Tilghman/Tiger Bay area of Fort Meade, FL and remained a resident of Fort Meade until several years ago before moving to Lakeland, FL. He was a retired Chemical Plant Supervisor for IMC, a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Meade.
Mr. Prine was preceded in death by his parents, Urel N. and Lillian Prine; wife, Lavata Prine; son, David Prine; sister, Elva Kilmon; sisters-in-law, Loretta Rewis, and Ann Card.
He is survived by his companion, Charlotte Price, Lakeland, FL; sons, Richard Prine and wife Tara, Frostproof, FL, Michael Prine and wife Laurie, Lakeland, FL; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Prine; grandchildren, Isaiah, Christopher and Megan, Jacob and Katy, Justin and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Nora, Eden, and Wrenley; nieces, Lisa Card Snyder, Lara Card Kimmel, Carol Adams, Brittany Kilmon; nephew, Carson Kilmon; great-nieces, Ashlyn Kimmel, Taylor Kimmell; and great-nephew, Josh Snyder.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 at Hancock Funeral Home, 945 E. Broadway, Fort Meade, FL, with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Kenny Slay officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Meade
