FORT MEADE - Mr. Tracy Lynn Rose, 63, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 in Lakeland, FL. Tracy was born December 23, 1956 in Hudson, Michigan and moved to Fort Meade from Titusville, FL in 1972. He was a grocery store and restaurant manager, having worked with Cracker Barrel and Taco Bell restaurants, Piggly Wiggly grocery stores, and started his food service career in Fort Meade with Jack Henderson at Smiling Jack's Grocery. Tracy was also a former volunteer fireman in Wakulla, FL; attended Tallahassee Community College; a 1974 Fort Meade High School graduate and was a DCT club officer; a former member of Fort Meade Lions Club; he loved spending time watching movies, fishing for many hours, and listening to various types of music.
He was preceded in death by his father Ronald M. Rose, and is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Millie Tucker Rose, Fort Meade, FL; son, Travis L. Rose, Fort Meade, FL; daughter, Celina Bree Mashoke and husband Brian, Venice, FL; mother, Mary Worley, Fort Meade, FL; step-mother, Peggy Sue Rose, Ocala, FL; sister, Monica Rose, Fort Meade, FL; brother and sister in love, Fred and Deborah Hogan, Alturas, FL; special niece, Crystal Hogan and husband Gary, Fort Meade, FL; nieces, Amy Ward, Alturas, FL, Krystina Tucker, Ballinger, TX; nephew, Christopher Tucker and wife Jaime, Fort Meade, FL; several other nieces and nephews; and his grand-cats, Yoda and Cush.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday; December 23, 2020 at the rear pavilion in Patterson Park, Hwy. 17, North, Fort Meade, FL. The family asks those who attend to bring a lawn chair and their fishing pole for a time sharing stories about Tracy. It is requested, masks and social distancing guidelines be applied.
